SURVIVAL

Cancer survival is improving continuously, with notable improvements made over the last two decades. Of all men living with cancer in Malta, prevalence is highest for patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.1 The five-year prostate cancer survival rate from 2010-2014 in Malta is 88.2%.2 This means that despite low death rates, Malta could lag behind the five-year survival rates in most EU countries.
