On 3 June, Let’s Talk Prostate Cancer (LTPC) held the national event “Dare forma al futuro della cura del cancro della prostata” at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome. Hosted by Honourable Gian Antonio Girelli, the event brought together leading voices from national and regional institutions, scientific societies, and patient organisations to address how Italy can step up in the fight against prostate cancer.

The event focused on reducing territorial inequalities, implementing structured screening programmes, and integrating prostate cancer screening into the Essential Levels of Care (LEA). Stakeholders from ONDA, SIU, SIURO, EUREGHA, AGENAS, and several regional health authorities shared best practices and called for urgent political leadership.
