On 1 June 2026, the Let’s Talk Prostate Cancer (LTPC) campaign hosted an international roundtable “Strengthening Prostate Cancer Early Detection and Care Across Asia-Pacific”. The event brought together leading clinicians, patient advocates and LTPC experts from Europe, Japan, Taiwan and New Zealand to explore the rapidly evolving prostate cancer landscape across the Asia-Pacific region and identify concrete opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The roundtable addressed shared challenges across the region: rising incidence, late-stage diagnosis and the absence of organised national screening programmes. Speakers also highlighted the psychological and family burden of prostate cancer, one of the most consistently reported yet unmet needs in patient care.
The roundtable reaffirmed LTPC’s commitment to building a truly global platform for prostate cancer advocacy, one that carries the lessons from Europe’s policy advances into new contexts.
